When those sensors are disturbed, the systems don't work as intended and in some cases stop working entirely.
ADAS calibration is required after a windscreen replacement where a forward-facing camera is mounted to the glass, any suspension or steering work that changes the vehicle's ride height or geometry, body repairs involving the front or rear bumpers where radar sensors are located, wheel alignment or tyre changes on some vehicles, and any repair work that moves or removes a sensor or camera mounting point.
